To discourage prospective thieves, we keep only a very small stock of actual gold jewelry in our store (most of our work is done on custom order). Our display samples are made of base metal with gold electroplate and have no intrinsic value. The gold jewelry we do have in stock is kept in an unbreakable TL-40 John Tann Safe which weighs 2,700 pounds and is anchored through the floor into solid coral bedrock. We publish this notice to try to prevent property damage to our store from people erroneously expecting to find extensive valuable merchandise. P.S. Day and night, our store is under the watchful eye of constant television and videotape surveillance by the local NASA Crime Watch security company.
